Life Lessons
Written by admin on November 15th, 2008The words “Life Lessons” were not the words used when I was a child. “If your going to do it, do it right.” I heard these words many times during my youth. Right and Wrong. Where a way of life. There were not a lot of grey areas in my life. Mom’s repeated mantra was “Put yourself in their shoes if you want to know what to do.” These two simple “Life Lessons” where the basis for a simple life lived on the farm with hundreds of animals and daily chores. My two older brothers and a younger sister where my partners in work and in play. Mom and Dad had a lot of help in teaching us the “Life Lessons” we needed to grow. Grandma and Grandpa Mann and G & G Pete where a big part of our up bringing. Aunts and Uncles where not at all uncomfortable reminding us what was “Right or Wrong”. They did not believe in a lot of grey area either. Our mission statement is: Teaching the traditional values of old to the youth of today, and doing it the cowboy way.
I hope you will continue to visit and talk with me about the up coming episodes.
